Who We Are

John Cockerill Defense for Military Industries LLC (ex-CMI Defense LLC) is the Saudi subsidiary of John Cockerill Defense SA (Belgium). John Cockerill Defense has been developing weapons systems and providing defense services to the armed forces for nearly two centuries to clients around the world.

Since Its establishment in December 2014 under the name CMI Defence LLC, the company story has been one of growth. We have moved from providing services to John Cockerill Defense, our mother company, to a fully end-to-end MRO (Maintenance Repair and Overhaul) and Training service provider to the Saudi Armed Forces and Saudi Defense Industry. Today, the company ambitions are to be an important player on the Saudi Defense market by producing and providing Military equipment and services to his customer and is proud to participate in VISION 2030 by localizing defense and manufacturing activities in the kingdom.

Our Vision

Become a major provider of Military equipment and services (MRO, Logistics, Training) by localizing manufacturing and services activities in Saudi Arabia in accordance with Vision 2030 As a Saudi company, we strongly believe in the future of the Saudi defense industry formulated by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Vision 2030 as a catalyst for further industrialization in Saudi Arabia as well as the country’s prosperity and security. We want to become one of the leading players in the country and in the GCC. We also aspire to provide our young Saudi people with an interesting job that allows them to develop their experiences for their own benefit and that of the country.
